Attention all 3-5th graders
ACOLYTE TRAINING DAY!
FEBRUARY 5 AT 12:15PM
Jesus said, “I am the Light of world; he who follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
We would like to invite all 3rd-5th graders to join us for lunch and then an afternoon of learning more about what it is to be an acolyte. The word acolyte has several meanings; helper, assistant, and to follow. As an aco-lyte you play an important part of worship. You are a helper to the pastor and make an example of how to follow Jesus; by taking his light into the world. What an important job and what an amazing way to follow Jesus! We look forward to seeing you February 5 at 12:15pm in the JK Howard room. (Even if you are already serving as an Acolyte we invite you come for lunch, fun, fellowship and to refresh on your important responsibilities.)

Have you ever noticed how often we compartmentalize our lives? We love to put the different areas of our lives in tidy boxes and then store them away until we need them. So what would happen if you choose to let God out of the box and into every area of your life? Join us for this series of discovery that could change your life and faith in 2012.
