We are delighted that you are visiting Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church through this website. Wesley is a congregation of open, caring people who are dedicated to being Jesus' disciples by sharing and living the good news of His love and salvation. We do this through teaching, preaching, worship, and various ways of service to all in need of God's love.
It is our belief that once people experience the grace of God through Jesus Christ, the result is a spiritual joy that must be shared. We believe that we are each called to ministry according to the gifts God has given. We believe that every member of the body of Christ is called into two fields of ministry: caring for one another and caring for the world, ultimately loving one another as Christ has loved all of God's children. We believe that Christ's Church worldwide and through the ages is the vehicle by which God changes the world.
If you discover nothing else by visiting this site, know this: you are a loved and valued child of God - and therefore loved and valued by the people of Wesley Memorial UMC. As the family of God, we are your brothers and sisters in Christ. We want to know you and share the love of Christ with you.
Enjoy this site! and God bless you until we meet face-to-face, and come back often!

THE SOPHISTICATED SWINGERS will perform here at Wesley, Sunday, March 14 at 5pm. Come for an evening of wonderful music, great fellowship and homemade dessert. Cost is just $5.00. Quilt drawing will also take place this night. Come out for a very entertaining night of music & fun.
The Sophisticated Swingers were formed in the early 1980’s by Paul Stroud and other musicians who desired to keep the great swing and big band music of the 1930’s, 1940’s and 1950’s alive for the enjoyment of all. The Swingers perform tunes from such legends as Glenn Miller, the Dorseys, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, W.C. Handy and Louis Armstrong. They are happy to play requests. |
